Druk

Since 2016, I have been meeting up with a group of bookbinders approximately once a year. Each year we create a book based on a shared theme. This is the book I made for the theme DRUK, a Dutch word that translates to both 'pressure' and 'busy'. Over the course of a few months, I collected all the signatures left over at my workplace from sewing books. I then 'bound' them together into a new book, representing the wide variety of types and sizes of books we produce.
